overheard at the Lincoln Memorial:
Obese Tourist 1: "What's that writing below the state names?" [pointing at the roman numerals]
Obese Tourist 2: "I think it's Arabic"
Obese Tourist 1: "Ohhhhh, of course" [dead serious]

I dunno...I was thinking the same thing.
The best part is that "regular" numbers are Arabic.
way to perpetuate the stereotype that fat people are stupid.
This story would have been funny without the demographic adjective. Or is this your subtle way of propogating the belief that only fat people say stupid things?
